Trump Warns ‘A Whole Civilisation Will Die Tonight’ If Iran Doesn’t Agree To Deal

In a post, Trump said, “A whole civilisation will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will.”

United States President, Donald Trump, has issued a stark warning that “a whole civilisation will die tonight” as tensions between the US and Iran continue to escalate.

In a post, Trump said, “A whole civilisation will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will.”

He added, “However, now that we have Complete and Total Regime Change, where different, smarter, and less radicalized minds prevail, maybe something revolutionarily wonderful can happen, WHO KNOWS? We will find out tonight, one of the most important moments in the long and complex history of the World. 47 years of extortion, corruption, and death, will finally end. God Bless the Great People of Iran!”

The remarks come shortly after Trump warned that Iran has 48 hours to conclude a deal or face severe consequences, referencing the strategic Strait of Hormuz amid ongoing tensions involving Washington, Tel Aviv, and Tehran.

Trump said “all hell will rain down” on Iran if the Strait of Hormuz is not reopened by Monday.

In a separate post on Truth Social, he wrote, “Remember when I gave Iran ten days to make a deal or open the Hormuz Strait? Time is running out: 48 hours remain before all hell rains down on them.”

The warning comes as the search for the weapons officer of a US fighter jet reportedly shot down over Iran entered a second day. Iranian authorities have said two US warplanes were downed — one in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province and another crashing in the Gulf.

The latest developments follow the escalation of hostilities after US–Israel military action launched on February 28 against Iran, during a period when negotiations were still ongoing.

Trump did not provide further details about the nature of the proposed deal or the specific actions that could follow if the deadline expires.

Last week, Trump had warned Iran that he would bomb the country “back to the stone ages.” Minutes later, his Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, reinforced the rhetoric in a brief post on X, writing: “Back to the Stone Age.”

During a prime-time address, Trump reiterated the threat, saying, “We are going to hit them extremely hard over the next two to three weeks, we’re going to bring them back to the stone ages, where they belong.”
